The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman between mileposts 122-119 and near Anvil Rock Road between mileposts 115-111 until October 2019.

Contractors are improving roadway safety and pavement conditions. The project includes reconstructing sections of the roadway, milling and replacing pavement, removal and replacement of existing guardrail, and applying a fog-seal coat.

During construction, one lane of traffic will be maintained on westbound Interstate 40 at all times.  Law enforcement may be on site to assist with traffic control.  Eastbound I-40 will not be affected.

Drivers are asked to obey traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
