TRAFFIC ALERT: Northern Arizona drivers should plan for Interstate 17 ramp closures south of Flagstaff through Aug. 12

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists who use I-17 in northern Arizona to plan for delays due to daytime ramp restrictions that will continue through Monday, Aug. 12 for paving work.

Lane closures are in place on the following ramps between 6 a.m and 6 p.m. daily:

• Fox Ranch Road
• Schnebly Hill Road
• Willard Springs Road
• Newman Park Road
• Kelly Canyon Road
• Kachina Village
• J.W. Powell Road
• Lake Mary Road

Crews will pave these ramps over four days, working on up to two ramps at a time. While paving work is underway, traffic will be shifted into one lane on the ramp.

Motorists should allow extra travel time and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
