Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:
- Eastbound I-10 closed between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) from 5 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 12) for sign installation and other work for construction of Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway. Allow extra travel time. Traffic will detour on eastbound US 60 to southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) in Tempe and westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) in Chandler to connect with I-10 beyond closure. - Eastbound I-10 closed between the I-17 "Stack" interchange and SR 51 north of downtown Phoenix area from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 10) for cleaning and maintenance of the I-10 tunnel. Traffic will detour on southbound I-17.
- Westbound I-10 closed between the I-17 "Split" interchange near Sky Harbor Airport and Seventh Avenue from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 11) for cleaning and maintenance of the I-10 tunnel.
