Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) Improvement Project – I-17 to Pima Road:
Road closures for July 12 - 18

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers on the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the following closures are scheduled to be in place:

Weekend Closures

Pima Freeway, Seventh Street to Seventh Avenue

• The westbound Pima Freeway will be closed between Seventh Street and Seventh Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, July 12, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 15.
  • The westbound Pima Freeway on-ramps at Seventh Street and Cave Creek Road also will be closed during the westbound freeway closure.

Hayden Road at the Pima Freeway

• North-and southbound Hayden Road will be closed at Loop 101 from 10 p.m. Friday, July 12, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 15.

Other Closures

 Hayden Road at the Pima Freeway

• North-and southbound Hayden Road will be closed at Loop 101 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, July 15, through the morning of Friday, July 19.

15th Avenue at the Pima Freeway

• The 15th Avenue bridge over the Pima Freeway is closed to north- and southbound traffic through late 2020 for reconstruction and other improvements.

Upcoming Closures

 Pima Freeway, Seventh Avenue to Seventh Street

• The eastbound Pima Freeway will be closed between Seventh Avenue and Seventh Street from 10 p.m. Friday, July 19, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 22.
  • The north- and southbound I-17 ramps to eastbound Pima Freeway also will be closed.

 Hayden Road at the Pima Freeway

• North-and southbound Hayden Road will be closed at Loop 101 from 10 p.m. Friday, July 19, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 22.
