Drivers should plan for Loop 101 (Price Freeway) road restrictions June 19 - 24
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers on the Price Freeway to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment at all times.
The following traffic restrictions are scheduled on the Price Freeway from 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, to 5 a.m. Thursday, June 20, and from 9 p.m. Thursday, June 20, to 5 a.m. Friday, June 21.
- The southbound on-ramp at Warner Road will be closed.
- The southbound off-ramp at Ray Road will be closed.
- The southbound right lane from Warner to Ray roads will be closed.
The following traffic restrictions are scheduled on the Price Freeway from 10 p.m. Friday, June 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 24:
- The southbound on-ramp at Ray Road will be closed.
- The southbound off-ramp at Chandler Boulevard will be closed.
- The southbound right lane from Ray Road to Chandler Boulevard will be closed.
Drivers on the southbound Price Freeway should plan on using alternate on- and off-ramps to reach their destinations, if necessary.
The closures are needed as work continues on the ADOT construction project that will add new general-purpose lanes on the Price Freeway between Baseline Road and the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway).
