ADOT's list of weekend freeway restrictions in the Phoenix area has been updated. The scheduled closure of eastbound I-10 between 83rd and 51st avenues has been postponed to a future weekend. Click on the map for detailed information about weekend restrictions. Please allow extra travel time, use caution and consider alternate routes while the following restrictions are in place:
- Eastbound I-10 narrowed to two lanes in areas between Verrado Way and Loop 303 from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday (May 18) for pavement improvements. Also expect temporary ramp closures in this area as the work progresses.
- Westbound I-10 narrowed to two lanes in areas between Loop 303 and Verrado Way from 10 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday (May 19) for pavement improvements. Also expect temporary ramp closures in this area as the work progresses.

Both I-10 ramps to northbound I-17 at the "Stack" interchange (northwest of downtown Phoenix) closed from 9:30 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday (May 19) for Cox Communications overhead utility line installation. I-17 also closed intermittently for up to 20 minutes each time between Indian School and Thomas roads. Westbound I-10 on-ramp at Seventh Avenue closed. Allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes. SR 51 is an alternate freeway route.
- POSTPONED: Planned eastbound I-10 closure between 83rd Avenue and 51st Avenue will be rescheduled on a future weekend.
