Nighttime restrictions continue on Interstate 10 and at Jimmy Kerr Boulevard near Casa Grande

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following nighttime restrictions continuing on I-10 near the I-8 interchange, and at Jimmy Kerr Boulevard in Casa Grande. These restrictions will be in place nightly from 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, Oct. 7, and continuing through early Friday, Oct. 12.

  • East- and westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between mileposts 196 and 199 (left lane closed).
  • Jimmy Kerr Boulevard will be closed under Interstate 10 with detours provided from Interstate 10 via Sunland Gin Road (Exit 200) and Florence Boulevard (Exit 194); local traffic will use an alternate route or use I-10 to Sunland Gin Road or Florence Boulevard. No ramps will be restricted.
  • A 12-foot vehicle-width restriction will also be in place.

Work is occurring in conjunction with the project to widen I-10 between I-8 and Earley Road.
