The Arizona Department of Transportation advises
drivers who use State Route 89 in Prescott to plan for overnight road closures while
contractors are installing new drainage pipes across the roadway.
-
State Route 89 will be closed in both directions
from Deep Well Ranch Road to State Route 89A from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday
through Thursday nights, Sept. 16, through Oct. 8. Detour:
Take Deep
Well Ranch Road and Ruger Road to access north- and southbound State Route 89. All
truck traffic will be diverted to Willow Creek Road.
-
Flaggers
will be in place directing traffic. ADOT will limit access to local traffic
only, but delays are possible. Drivers are asked to obey traffic control devices
and use caution around construction personnel equipment.
