Intermittent lane closures set for State Route 286 north of Sasabe starting July 30

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for intermittent lane closures and delays on State Route 286 north of Sasabe when paving work begins Monday, July 30. Work is expected to take about one week.

Crews will pave damaged sections of the roadway between milepost 3 and milepost 12 from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

SR 286 will be reduced to a single lane where crews are working, and traffic will be controlled by flaggers.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
