The
following road closures will be in place from Speedway Boulevard to 22nd Street
in Tucson between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, for the annual El
Tour de Tucson bicycle event.
- The
eastbound I-10 frontage road from Speedway Boulevard to Congress Street will be
closed.
- The
intersection of the east- and westbound frontage roads at 22nd Street will be
closed.
- The
eastbound I-10 frontage road from Craycroft to Kolb roads will be closed.
Law
enforcement will be on site. Drivers should proceed through the area with
caution, slow down and watch for traffic control and personnel.
ADOT
works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but it’s
possible that unscheduled closures or restrictions might occur because of
weather or other factors. For the latest highway conditions around the state,
