Overnight closures on I-10 near Sacaton Rest Area next week

The Arizona Department of Transportation is making roadway improvements on Interstate 10 near the Sacaton Rest Area (mileposts 181 to 183) that will require overnight lane closures in both directions Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane Tuesday, May 26.
Westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane Wednesday, May 27.
The rest area at Sacaton will remain open.
One lane on east and westbound I-10 will remain open at all times.
The posted speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph in the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
