Official State Holiday Bulletin

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday Observed

The State of Arkansas will officially observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday on Monday, January 21st, 2019.

State Capitol Offices and all State Buildings will be closed. The State Capitol Building will, however, be open to visitors that day from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

This is a legal holiday by authority of Act 304 of 2001 and amended by Act 561 of 2017.
