(LITTLE ROCK, ARK.) – Subcommittee One of the Arkansas Capitol Arts
and Grounds Commission will meet on Thursday, August 9, 2018. The subcommittee will hear a presentation on the current status of the Gold Star Family Monument and discuss the next steps in the process of this project. This meeting will take place at 10:30 AM and will be held in Room 151 of
the State Capitol Building. A copy of the meeting agenda is attached below.
Following the subcommittee meeting, the full Capitol Arts and Grounds Commission will meet at 1:00 PM on August 9, 2018, to discuss
the Gold Star Family Monument as well as a proposal submitted by the Daughters of the
1812 War. This meeting will also be in Room 151 of the State Capitol Building. A copy of the agenda
for that meeting is also attached below.
