(LITTLE ROCK, ARK.) – On Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at
11 AM, Subcommittee Two of the State Capitol Arts and Grounds Commission will
meet in the Old Supreme Courtroom on the second floor of the Arkansas State
Capitol Building.
The purpose of this meeting is to review the proposed
changes to the base structure of the Ten Commandments Monument on the grounds
of the Arkansas State Capitol.
Members of the subcommittee include Mr. Tony Leraris of Fort
Smith, Ms. Catherine Johnson of Little Rock, and Ms. Kelly VanHook of Searcy.
While open to the public, no public comment will be received
during the meeting. If the proposal is deemed sufficient to move forward,
the next step would involve holding a public hearing at some future date.
