City of Fort Smith Responding to Network Security Event

Fort Smith, AR - The City of Fort Smith (the “City”) recently identified a security event impacting its computer network and resulting in the disruption of certain computer systems and city services. 911 dispatch and emergency services response remain fully functional.

The City is coordinating with governmental partners, including federal law enforcement and cybersecurity specialists, as part of its comprehensive response. Our work is active and ongoing as we endeavor to restore full functionality to city services as expeditiously as possible. We will provide additional information as our investigation progresses.
