City of Fort Smith Names Three Candidates to Interview for City Administrator
Fort Smith, AR - The City of Fort Smith Board of Directors selected three candidates to interview for the City Administrator position during an executive session at the Tuesday, July 21 Regular Meeting. The candidates were announced immediately after the executive session.
The three candidates are:

Joseph Lessard, Austin, Texas: Former City Manager for Ashland, Oregon, population 21,061, and Assistant City Manager for Austin, Texas, population 578,608.

Richard McGill, Sikeston, Missouri: Former City Administrator for New Madrid, Missouri, population 2,512.

Robert Sivick, Dalton, Georgia: County Administrator for Whitfield County, Georgia, population 106,866.
“Colin Baenzinger & Associates has done an exceptional job of highlighting our strengths and opportunities as a City and has brought forward several strong candidates who understand where we are, what we are working on, and what we have ahead of us,” City Director Lee Kemp, who has served as the Board liaison throughout the search, said. “Strong leaders seek out big opportunities to showcase their skills and abilities.”
The three candidates will be in Fort Smith for in-person interviews on Thursday, July 30.
