At approximately 11:34 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2026, Director Andre' Good contacted the City Clerk's Office and advised of circumstances that prevents his attendance at the July 7, 2026 regular meeting. Due to his desire to participate in discussion of Item No. 1 on the aforementioned regular meeting agenda, pursuant to Section 2-31(4) of the Fort Smith Municipal Code, Director Good requested the noted and below provided item be removed from the July 7, 2026 regular meeting agenda:

All remaining directors were contacted; however, because multiple directors were not immediately available, voice messages requesting a return phone call were left.
Ultimately, Director Lee Kemp concurred with the request; however, Directors George Catsavis, Christina Catsavis, and Neal Martin did not concur. Directors Jarred Rego and Kevin Settle could not be reached.
Removal of an item on the agenda requires the concurrence of four (4) directors at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. Concurrence was not obtained within the required timeframe; therefore, the subject item will remain on the July 7, 2026 regular meeting agenda.
Please note that, in the event of concurrence for removal of the subject item and pursuant to Section 2-31(3) of the Fort Smith Municipal Code, Director Good further requested the same item be placed on the July 21, 2026 regular meeting agenda. Because concurrence was not obtained to remove the item, the request for placement on the July 21, 2026 regular meeting is now moot.
