 Fort Smith Transit Service Updates – Effective January 19, 2026
Fort Smith Transit is announcing important service changes that will take effect in January 2026. Riders are encouraged to review the information below and plan trips accordingly.

Rogers Supercenter Route Discontinuation
Effective January 19, 2026, Fort Smith Transit will discontinue the Rogers Supercenter Route.
This decision follows a review of ridership, funding, and operational needs.
Alternative Service Options:

Access to S. 70th Street, including destinations such as the Social Security Administration, Sebastian County Health Department, and Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center, will be available via the Towson Route beginning January 19, 2026.

Areas along S. 74th Street and S. 79th Street will be served by the Rogers Express Route.

Riders traveling along S. Dallas Street and Waldron Road are encouraged to contact Fort Smith Transit to discuss the best available travel options.
Riders who currently use this route are encouraged to plan ahead and explore nearby fixed routes or Demand Response / Paratransit services (for eligible riders).

Saturday Service Hours Change
Beginning Monday, January 19, 2026, Fort Smith Transit will adjust Saturday operating hours.
