City of Fort Smith Honored as a 2025 Trendsetter City by Arkansas Business
Fort Smith, AR — The City of Fort Smith has been honored as a 2025 Trendsetter City by Arkansas Business in the Diversity and Inclusion category, recognizing the City’s commitment to creating inclusive playgrounds at five city parks: Carol Ann Cross Park, Creekmore Park, John Bell Jr. Park, Martin Luther King Jr. Park, and Tilles Park. The award celebrates efforts to make public spaces welcoming, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.
Fort Smith was featured in the December 15 edition of Arkansas Business and officially recognized today at the Arkansas Municipal League’s Winter Conference. The award demonstrates the City’s dedication to providing safe, accessible play experiences that foster inclusion, health, and community connections for children and families.
