Emergency Water Conservation Measures Lifted

Fort Smith, AR - All water conservation measures for the City of Fort Smith have been lifted.

Since the repairs to the 24-inch water main were completed and the line was returned to operation on August 8, and due to residents observing water conservation measures, the reservoirs and storage tanks have returned to normal operating levels. With capacity restored, water conservation measures are no longer in effect.

The City of Fort Smith thanks all residents, businesses, and organizations for their cooperation during this conservation period. Community-wide participation was essential in speeding recovery efforts.

Normal water use may now resume.
