UPDATE: Emergency Water Conservation Measures Remain In Effect

Fort Smith, AR - Mandatory Phase II Water Conservation Measures are still in effect. These restrictions will remain in place until further notice.

Although repairs to the 24-inch water main have been completed, pressure testing and disinfection must be finalized before the pipe is fully returned to service.

To ensure the availability of water for public safety and essential services, the following restrictions are in place:

• No lawn or turf watering
• Golf courses may water greens and tee boxes only
• No watering of fairways, roughs, or sports fields using City water
• No washing of vehicles, boats, trailers, or buildings — except:
   • Commercial car washes
   • Licensed dealerships (Tuesdays and Fridays only)
• No filling or operation of swimming pools or outdoor fountains
