The City of Fort Smith Government Access Channel (Cox Channel 214) experienced an equipment failure on Wednesday, March 17, 2025, which directly impacted broadcast of any advertisement or video on the channel. A media notification was provided on Thursday, March 20, 2025 advising the Access Channel was temporarily out of service.

The subject equipment has been repaired and the City of Fort Smith Government Access Channel (Cox Channel 214) is now back in service and fully operational.
