Director Request to Add Item to the
December 17, 2024 Regular Meeting Agenda |

MEDIA NOTIFICATION
December 13, 2024
On December 13, 2024 at approximately 8:14 a.m., Director Kevin Settle contacted the City Clerk's Office and requested an additional item be placed on the December 17, 2024 regular meeting agenda, the item being as follows:
- Ordinance amending the 2025 Operating Budget and authorizing the appropriation of funds from the unobligated General Fund balance for the Parrot Island Waterpark expansion ($2.1 million for the purchase of waterslides)

The requested addition to the agenda requires the concurrence of four (4) directors; therefore, all remaining directors were contacted whereby Directors Lavon Morton, Andre' Good, and Jarred Rego concurred with the request. Director George Catsavis did not concur.
Directors Christina Catsavis and Neal Martin could not be immediately reached; however, after already attaining the required concurrence, both contacted the City Clerk's Office with each indicating they did not concur and both requested their non-concurrence be so noted.
Since concurrence of four (4) directors was obtained, the above noted item will be placed on the December 17, 2024 regular meeting agenda as requested.
