Pursuant to Section 2-31(4) of the Fort Municipal Code, Director Christina Catsavis contacted the City Clerk's Office at approximately 12:08 p.m. and requested the following items be removed from the November 19, 2024 regular meeting agenda:
Items regarding the Move Fort Smith Active Transportation Master Plan:
A. Ordinance repealing the Trails and Greenways Master Plan and adopting the Move Fort Smith Active Transportation Master Plan ~ Rego/Good placed on August 20, 2024 regular meeting at the August 13, 2024 study session / Tabled to the October 22, 2024 regular meeting at the August 20, 2024 regular meeting / Moved to November 19, 2024 regular meeting by unanimous vote at the October 8, 2024 regular meeting ~
B. Resolution adopting the Move Fort Smith Active Transportation Master Plan
The requested removal requires the concurrence of four (4) directors; therefore, all remaining members of the Board of Directors were contacted and advised of the request.
Directors George Catsavis, Kevin Settle, and Neal Martin concurred with the requested removal of the above noted agenda items.
Director Lavon Morton did not concur, and a message was left with Directors Andre' Good and Jarred Rego.
Due to the concurrence of four (4) directors, the above items have been removed from the November 19, 2024 regular meeting agenda as requested. A revised packet reflecting the removal of the items will be posted to the City of Fort Smith website once readily made available.
