Peanut butter may be a timeless favorite in sandwiches, but before you rinse it down the drain, think twice!
Peanut butter contains fats and oils. It can be problematic for the sewer system due to its thick and sticky consistency. When rinsed or washed down drains, it can accumulate along the pipe walls, trapping other debris and leading to clogs over time. To prevent drain issues, avoid washing peanut butter down the drain and instead dispose of it in the trash.
