MEDIA NOTIFICATION
Sales Tax Information and Feedback Meeting - May 9, 2022
The City of Fort Smith will be conducting a Sales Tax Information and Feedback Meeting regarding potential renewal of the existing 0.25% Sales and Use Tax for Fire Department and Parks & Recreation Department Capital Improvement Plan purposes, and potential continuation of the existing 0.75% Sales and Use Tax for Police Department and Consent Decree purposes, which are set for voter consideration at a special election on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
Factual information regarding the aforementioned 0.25% and 0.75% Sales and Use Taxes will be presented and citizen feedback is encouraged; therefore, all interested parties are invited to attend. Said meeting is scheduled as follows:
