Funding applications open
Applications for several funding opportunities are open until 13 March.
A total funding pool of over $235,000 is available to help support projects that will benefit the MidCoast community.
Last years funding rounds helped the deliver over 50 projects. Some of the supported projects included the Forster Main Beach Mural, the purchase of back up power supplies for 2 UHF base stations in Harrington, roof repairs for Cundletown Post Office (heritage building), NAIDOC events at Taree, Forster, Gloucester and Tea Gardens, Old Bar Beach Festival, Wingham Music Festival and more.

Little Street Boat Ramp
The two-year trial to improve safety at Forster's Little Street boat ramp during summer months has ended. We now want to hear from users of the ramp and the swimming baths area. Head to our website and complete the short survey before Monday 9 March.Â

A new batch of apprentices and trainees have been inducted and are beginning their exciting careers with MidCoast Council. Each year we provide people of all ages and backgrounds with the opportunity to kickstart their careers with opportunities available in a number of fields.

Roadworks at Nabiac and Old Bar
Sections of Wallanbah Road at Nabiac and Old Bar Road, Old Bar will undergo heavy patching over the coming weeks. Motorists should expect minor delays with traffic control in place.
