🚧Temporary Road Closure🚧Caldwell Mill Rd will close for bridge removal and replacement on Sept. 8, 2025, and will remain closed through Winter 2026. After reopening, Old Looney Mill Rd will temporarily close for similar work until the Summer of 2026. Detours include the use of Five Oaks Lane and Old Looney Mill Rd.
Local traffic will have full access. But, visitors to Altadena Park should expect delays and use caution.
Please plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time, especially during peak hours. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the community's roadways and infrastructure.
Jefferson County Treasurer Angela Webb-Weinberg submitted a resolution to the Commission asking them to recognize September as Financial Literacy Month. The resolution is scheduled for next week's meeting but we sat down with Angela to learn a little more about her office, and why she is so passionate about the topic. Hint -- it's personal!
