Travelers Tip:
DeSoto Falls is one of the tallest and most visited waterfalls in Alabama. The 107-foot waterfall and picnic area is part of the DeSoto State Park. Grab lunch to-go from our Mountain Inn Restaurant and enjoy a picnic with a view!

Lake Guntersville State Park is located along the banks of the Tennessee River in Northeast Alabama. Whether you are looking for a resort style retreat or an outdoor adventure in the park’s 6,000 acres of natural woodlands, Lake Guntersville State Park will satisfy your vacation needs. 

The Lodge offers 112 hotel rooms that range from lake-facing suites to park-facing standard rooms. All rooms come equipped with a flat screened television, microwave, hair dryer, mini-refrigerator, single-cup coffee maker, and complimentary coffee. 

Travelers Tip:
Make sure to bring your binoculars to catch a glimpse of one of the main attractions at the park! Alabama's nesting bald eagle population is increasing, and Guntersville has become a focal point of Eagle Awareness in the state.
