Santa's Underground Workshop! ~Enjoy Rickwood Caverns like never before as the cave is transformed into a winter wonderland! Enjoy thousands of bright and vibrant Christmas lights AND visit with Santa!  December 1st- 23rd, 2pm-8pm Daily, $10 Per Person.

Blow Your Own Ornament Orbix Hot Glass is a glass blowing studio and gallery on Lookout Mountain that offers fine decorative and functional glass, as well as very popular glass blowing classes.Design and literally “blow” your own ornament with the help of a glass artist. Date: December 15, 2018 Time: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (Central)

What better way to kick off the New Year than by getting a jump start burning off those extra holiday calories in the great outdoors? America’s State Parks have all 50 states offering free, guided First Day Hike Programs. These hikes provide a means for individuals and families to welcome the coming year in the outdoors, exercising and connecting with nature.

Where: DeSoto State Park-Fort Payne, Alabama-Country Store & Information Center on County Road 89 
Fee: Free and open to everyone.

DeSoto State Park has three rooms available for your holiday functions. The DeSoto Room and its distinctive stone fireplace can accommodate up to 25 people, the Canyon Room can accommodate up to 40 and the Main Dining Room can seat up to 60. We also have a large outdoor deck available for all types of gatherings, and the outdoor Civilian Conservation Corps Pavilion. We provide full service catering services for these facilities.
