Lake Guntersville State Park has a full spring break schedule starting March 17th. From movie nights to live animal presentations the schedule is packed with fun activities. If adrenaline adventure is more your thing then check out the Screaming Eagle Zip line.    

DeSoto State Park is located in the middle of some of the most scenic areas in the south. Located outside of Ft. Payne, Alabama, DeSoto provides spring break recreation for the entire family:

Do you enjoy listening to local musicians? Well if you do and you prefer the sound of good bluegrass music then visit Blue Springs State Park March 17th and 18th for Pickin' in the Park. Bring your own lawn chairs and enjoy two evenings of good music.   

Are you looking for something to different? If so, check out the dutch oven cooking demonstration at Wind Creek State Park on March 25th. Learn the basics of cooking, the history behind dutch ovens and maybe take home a recipe or two. Bringing your own dutch ovens and recipes is encouraged. 

Are you going to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach for Spring Break? If you are then check out the Kids of the Wilderness camp out at Gulf State Park. This event is loaded with all kinds of kid-friendly activities. From kayaking to fire building this event is full of fun.

How about a 5K and fun run mixed into your spring break plans? The 5th Running Buck Wild 10K, 5K and Fun Run at Joe Wheeler State Park takes runners across different terrains such as hiking trails, asphalt, and gravel roads. Runners will be sure to enjoy the natural beauty of Joe Wheeler State Park.
