We are excited to announce our Winter Special offering a 25% discount on all overnight accommodations Sunday - Thursday at select parks. This is our way of saying thank you for your support over the last few years. A bigger thank you for helping us win the Amendment 2 vote allowing us to keep our revenue. You can now take comfort knowing your money spent inside the parks will stay where it belongs - at the parks. The Winter Special starts December 11th and runs through February 28th. Thanks to the legislature, starting January of 2017 you will now have an option of purchasing an Alabama State Parks car tag. Yet another great reason why the Amendment 2 victory was so important to us. Now, this money stays where it belongs-at the parks. Thank you Park supporters!

We are excited to announce that the Dirt Pass Trails Team Program is back for 2017. This program provides a means for people to voluntarily financially support our new trails program. Please use the new online sales tool to purchase your 2017 Dirt Pass.

Bring in the New Year by participating in a First Day Hike at the Alabama State Parks. These hikes are not only great exercise but provide great information about the natural aspects of our parks. Join us for a #FirstDayHike on January 1st at the park locations below:

Don't forget about our Hunter's Special that lasts through hunting season at our lodge parks. All lodge rooms are discounted to $49.95 for those hunters that hunt any Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Just show your hunting license and your WMA permit to be eligible for the special. Also check out the Stay and Hunt package at DeSoto State Park and the Hunter's Special at Blue Springs State Park.

Christmas and New Year's are special times for all the parks staff. We have established lots of friends over the years thru our Christmas and New Years celebrations.
