Soils Working Group
Greetings from the Soils Working Group! As one of the newest AGC Working Groups, we are still getting our feet firmly planted. The main focus of this working group is to: foster cooperation and collaboration between many entities, improve and educate on soils related geospatial datasets, and provide the medium for efficient data sharing of Alaska soils data.
Visit our hub site to get more details on what we do, connect with the co-chairs, see the charter and link to our next meeting when it is posted.
We met in both March and April and had representatives from across the board. The meetings produced great discussions and found some joint collaboration opportunities for this summer’s field season. With the majority of participants out of the office conducting field work soon, it was decided to hold our next meeting in the fall (aiming for October - Date TBD – check our hub site).
