The State of Alaska Gold Standard School Wellness Policy was developed by the State of Alaska Obesity Prevention and Control Program and the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development Child Nutrition Program and meets all federal requirements for Local School Wellness Policies. It is intended to provide a framework for developing wellness policy.
