Eliminate the IDD Waitlist - Second Stakeholder Session

The Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education shares the following information from SOA DOH Senior and Disability Services:
The FY23 budget bill (HB 281) passed by the legislature and signed by the Governor included intent language directing the Department of Health to develop a plan and cost estimates to eradicate the waiting list for waivers serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) within five years.
SDS and HCBS Strategies will be holding a second meeting on Monday, November 21 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am to present the assumptions and analysis that will support the final Waitlist Eradication report that is due to the legislature by December 20, 2022.
