Series Information!
Alaska's State Division of Public Health and UAA's Alaska ECHO Project presented Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Family: a 20-part ECHO series with the goal to increase knowledge and skills for raising and supporting family members with IDD, behavioral health diagnoses, trauma history, FASD and related neurodevelopmental disabilities, and to build a network of strong family advocates in Alaska.
Each 60-minute session was held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month and included a didactic presentation along with an open discussion facilitated by a interdisciplinary team of professionals, those with lived experience, and family members.
