The two-dose pediatric Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was recommended for children age 5-11 by the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), and that recommendation was also endorsed by the CDC. This follows the FDA’s emergency use authorization of the pediatric vaccine. Children age 5-11 are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
