Public Health Webinar Series
The Alaska Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion offers a free webinar series about public health projects and partnerships in Alaska
The Alaska Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion will continue its annual series of webinars to share current projects and partnerships. Health starts where we live, work, learn, and play — long before we need medical care. The section works with communities, health systems, worksites, and schools to reduce and manage the most prevalent, costly, and preventable health problems across Alaska. These include injuries and chronic diseases, like cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. The section focuses on preventing and reducing tobacco and e-cigarette use, as well as obesity.
The Section’s webinars are free and short — lasting about 20 minutes apiece, with 10 additional minutes for questions and answers.
