Emergency Responder Integration of Technology to Enhance Substance Use Disorder Treatment Linkage to Care Sponsorship
EMS and other first responder agencies have the opportunity to receive up to $15,000 dollars that is provided in sponsorship by the Department of Health and Social Services Offices of Public Health, EMS and Substance Misuse and Addiction Prevention (OSMAP) through funds received by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
These funds are available to give agencies the ability to purchase technology or to provide training of technology in order to link people served to substance use disorder treatment.
Activities and or technology that is support would include:
- Integration of technological apps and programs
- Technological supplies and equipment
- Technological training
- Technological subscription and fees
- Establishing technological connection to existing platforms and overall health information interfacing
- Technology such as iPads to interface with behavioral health providers
- Establishing data use agreements
