The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) is pleased to announce the release of School Nutrition the Card Game. Use this fun and interactive game to teach your staff, district administrators, and stakeholders the core functions of managing your nutrition program, including:
- Menu planning
- Food cost
- Meal participation
- Program administration
- Program costs
- Public opinion
- And more!

Each player is given funding to plan and prepare a menu. The goal of the game is to end with the highest participation rate and most money (but not more than three months' operating expense). Players earn money by serving popular food items but can lose money by failing administrative reviews or serving too many controversial food items.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
