BART-to-Bus Paper Discount Transfer Ticket Public Hearing
YOUR INPUT IS INVITED
The AC Transit Board of Directors will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. to receive input on the proposed elimination of the paper version of the BART-to-bus discount transfer ticket. Please read the Public Notice here.
Due to the current Shelter-in-Place order, the Public Hearing will be held virtually and can be accessed using video or telephone. You can access the link to join the video conference - or obtain the call-in information - by visiting www.actransit.org, calling (510) 891-7209, or sending an email to districtsecretary@actransit.org after Friday, September 18, 2020.
HOW TO COMMENT
Public comments can be submitted in writing, by phone (voicemail), via eComment or at the hearing. Please submit email, mail and voicemail comments no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the hearing as follows:

You also have the option to provide input until 5:00 pm on the night of the hearing by using the eComment feature here.
Spanish and Chinese interpreters will be available at the hearing. Upon request, a sign language or foreign language interpreter for additional languages must be requested by calling (510) 891-7209 by September 17, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. For TDD for hearing impaired, call 711, California Relay Service, and specify (510) 891-4700.

PROPOSAL DETAILS
AC Transit is considering the elimination of the paper version of the BART-to-Bus discount transfer. If this proposal is approved, the discount will still be available on Clipper®.
If approved by the Board of Directors, the elimination of the paper transfer ticket will be implemented as soon as practicable, but no later than November 9, 2020.
