Fruitvale Intersection Nighttime Paving

WHERE: Intersection of Fruitvale Avenue & International Boulevard

WHEN: Friday, Nov. 8 – Saturday, Nov. 9 | 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

(Schedule subject to change based on weather and field conditions.)

To complete the work as quickly as possible, work will occur over the course of two nights. Old pavement will be removed and replaced with a layer of new asphalt.

The intersection will be closed at night, but motorists will continue to have street access to homes and businesses during the day. Emergency vehicles will be able to use the intersection at all times.

Stay Safe! Please follow all construction and detour signs while the work is underway.

AC Transit understands that nighttime work may be disruptive, so is providing FREE ear plugs for your convenience. The BRT’s Outreach Team will be available to answer any questions or concerns while the nighttime work is underway and can be reached at (510) 891-5478.
