WHAT TO EXPECT

  • The existing asphalt surface will be completely excavated and new asphalt will be installed
  • Nearly 10 miles of street pavement will be replaced curb-to-curb
  • The new pavement will have a life expectancy of 20 years
  • Motorists will continue to have street access to homes and businesses during repaving
  • A revitalized road will help move people faster through one of the Easy Bay’s busiest regions

Your safety is our concern! During this time, please follow all construction signs and DO NOT enter any construction areas.

For questions about roadway improvements or the BRT project, please contact the BRT Information Center at (510) 891-5478 or brt@actransit.org.
