Upcoming Changes to MEP Connect and MEIS

Your input is needed for enhanced collaboration.

Over the coming months, we are going to be rolling out some updates and improvements to MEIS and MEP Connect, two of which will impact the way you use both platforms:

  1. Communities of Practice: Starting January 2016, all Communities of Practice will be moved from MEIS and migrated over to MEP Connect. Any user that will be affected by this migration will be contacted before implementation.
  2. MEIS Knowledge Base: The MEIS Knowledge Base (created nearly 10 years ago) is a repository of accumulated questions and answers asked from around the system about a specific topic. We are currently in the process of determining whether or not the Knowledge Base is a value to the system and need your input. Please take a moment to answer five questions about your current use and/or need for a Knowledge Base. Click here to start the questionnaire.

Background:

MEP Connect was launched in October 2014 as a web-based collaboration tool to optimize communication and collaboration across the network. MEIS is MEP’s information system that helps centers with online data collection and processing. This web-based database allows centers to view and print a variety of reports, as well as research companies and industries.

MEP Connect and MEIS are different websites, however they are both accessed by using your MEIS username and password. If you have any questions please contact Nicole Ausherman or Cindy Orellana.
