Fishing in your own neighborhood, geocaching, harmonica-making, Double Dutch jumping -- what more could you want out of a summer afternoon? On July 30, over 450 young people in Saint Paul were able to take advantage of these activities and more at the collaborative event known as Day at Lake Phalen.

Registration is now full for Igniting Quality, the annual Youth Program Quality Conference, on Sept. 19, 2014. The conference is provided by the University of Minnesota's Youth Work Learning Lab in the School of Social Work and with the support of partners including Sprockets, Ignite, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, University of Minnesota Extension, and the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board. Stay tuned for additional training opportunities.
