University of Minnesota   Youthprise
Dear Minnesota Youth Worker and OST Leader,
We want to know your perspective on the social and emotional development of young people and what you are already doing and think ought to be done in Minnesota.  Please click HERE or on the link below to complete the University of Minnesota SEL Survey for OST Leaders.  After you complete the survey you become eligible for over $1200 in thank you prizes -- including 2 iPad minis!
The survey is part of a University of Minnesota partnership with Youthprise on the Social and Emotional Learning Initiative From Understanding to Action.  It is designed to ask OST leaders like you about your perspectives on social and emotional learning, its importance, its assessment, barriers, your efforts in this area and which dimensions of SEL you believe are most important.  Many of the questions parallel a survey we did last spring of over 600 educational leaders. Now it is your turn to share your perspective.
The survey is anonymous and the results will be available on our web site early this fall. Initial results will be presented at a joint meeting of the Youth Funders Group and the OST SEL Outcomes Task Force in September (and help shape the Task Force's recommendations). This is your chance to let them know what you think!
The survey is a bit longer than usual (about 20 minutes) and needs to be done in one setting (you cannot come back to complete it).  Please do the survey as soon as possible so your results may be included.
To thank you for your valuable time, your email will be entered in a special drawing for two iPad minis and twenty $25 gift cards.  Winners will be drawn randomly from those who complete the survey. Complete the survey soon to be eligible for the first drawing. Thank you for your participation in this study and contributions to the field.
Enjoy your summer,
