The MnDOT-DEED Highway Heavy Construction
Training Program A
program designed to reduce historic disparities found in the ratios of
minorities and women within the Minnesota highway construction industry. The
MnDOT-DEED HHCT-2015 program will launch its fifth year in providing

Seeking Women for Non-Traditional Jobs Grants Program Goodwill-Easter
Seals received funding through the state’s Women and High-Wage, High-Demand,
Nontraditional Jobs Grant Program to help low income women and women over age
50 enter the construction trades.
Interested women will participate in 12 weeks of hands-on training in
construction that includes job placement assistance. Interested
