Evanston Utility Boxes Came Alive this Summer
 Art and community came together this summer to create something beautiful as students at One River School spent the past few months painting murals on utility boxes in downtown Evanston.
City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz to Resign
On Tuesday, City Manager, Wally Bobkiewicz announced his resignation effective September 27, 2019. He will begin his new role as City Administrator of Issaquah, Washington on September 30, 2019.

Evanston History Center's Annual Gala 8/24
The Evanston History Center will host its annual Gala event, "A Night at the Blind Pig Speakeasy," on Sat., Aug. 24. Guests will enjoy an evening of 1920s-style cocktails, speakeasy-inspired cuisine, and live music by The Fat Babies jazz band!

Evanston Public Library (EPL) Expands Dementia Programs
To meet the needs of the growing number of Evanston residents affected by dementia, EPL has launched a new Dementia Resource Center that provides information, education, and activities in addition to their Memory Cafés, which take place on the third Saturday of each month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
