Dental Hygiene Examining Committee Member Bios

Julienne Jobin, RDH
My name is Julienne Jobin, though I am often called Juli. I am enthusiastic about beginning this new phase of my professional journey by serving on the Dental Hygiene Examination Committee. The dental industry is experiencing rapid change, and I am committed to contributing to its future direction. As a member of a Navy family, I spent most of my childhood and adolescence on Whidbey Island. During high school, my family moved to Michigan for my father’s final tour of duty. While attending Algonac High School, I participated in a cooperative education program that helped me to become a certified dental assistant upon graduation. Then, I attended Ferris State University, where I earned an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2001. In 2003, I returned to Washington State and have practiced here since then. In 2014, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Eastern Washington University. I have been fortunate to receive guidance from exceptional mentors throughout my career. My experience includes work in private general practice, periodontics, and as a dental assistant instructor. For the past five years, my husband, our two sons, and I have resided in Cle Elum. I am an active member of the Teanaway Grange, which is dedicated to fundraising for college scholarships for local students. In my spare time, I volunteer at our local schools, support my sons and their teammates at sporting events, and enjoy playing Euchre.
