Trauma Informed Care Foundations
- Date and Time: Wednesday February 25th, 2026, 4:30pm-7:30pm

- Description: A foundational and engaging session on trauma-informed care, essential for anyone serving the community. Through interactive discussion, participants will deepen their understanding of what trauma is, how it shapes behavior and communication, and how to recognize trauma responses in the people we serve. Volunteers and staff will build practical skills rooted in safety, choice, and cultural awareness, strengthening confidence and compassion in every interaction. A meaningful training for those committed to showing up with skill, empathy, and readiness during times when community members need us most.
